Choose a Relevant Toolbox Talk Topic
Prioritize current hazards, upcoming tasks, changes, recent observations, incident learning or controls that require reinforcement. Avoid selecting topics only because generic material is available.
Keep the Discussion Focused
Explain the issue, why it matters, the relevant controls and what workers are expected to do. Use workplace examples rather than unnecessary theory.
Encourage Worker Participation
